The Kerala Government Medical Officers’ Association (KGMOA) is the only service organization representing all categories of doctors in Health Services, recognized by the Govt. of Kerala vide GO(MS) No. 352/66 dt 02/09/1966 (Regn No 63/1966). We aim at upholding the honour and dignity of the doctors in the health services department by being a watchdog for the rights of its members. At the same time, we also contribute to the improvement of the quality of healthcare service delivery. Our motto is “Save Health Services – Fight for Quality; For the Members, For the Society”.

കേരളത്തിലെ ആരോഗ്യ വകുപ്പിലെ ഡോക്ടർമാരുടെ ഒരേ ഒരു അംഗീകൃത സർവ്വീസ് സംഘടനയാണ് കേരള ഗവൺമെൻ്റ് മെഡിക്കൽ ഓഫീസേഴ്സ് അസോസിയേഷൻ (KGMOA). അമ്പത്തിരണ്ട് വർഷത്തിലധികം പ്രവർത്തന പാരമ്പര്യമുള്ള, രാഷ്ട്രീയേതരമായ ഈ സംഘടന പൊതുജനാരോഗ്യ രംഗത്ത് സുപ്രധാനമായ ഇടപെടലുകൾ കാലാകാലങ്ങളിൽ നടത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.

ഗുണനിലവാരമുള്ള മെച്ചപ്പെട്ട ചികിത്സ സാർവ്വത്രികമായി ലഭ്യമാക്കുക, അതിനായി പൊതുജനാരോഗ്യ സംവിധാനങ്ങളെ സജ്ജമാക്കുകയും സംരക്ഷിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക എന്നതാണ് ഓരോ കെ.ജി.എം.ഒ എ അംഗത്തിൻ്റെയും ഉത്തരവാദിത്വവും ലക്ഷ്യവും.
ഈ ലക്ഷ്യത്തിനു വിരുദ്ധമായി വരുന്ന എത് നയങ്ങളെയും ജനാധിപത്യപരമായ രീതിയിൽ എതിർക്കുന്നതിനും, അത്തരം നയവ്യതിയാനങ്ങളെ പൊതു ജനസമക്ഷം തുറന്നവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനും സംഘടന എന്നും മുൻപന്തിയിലുണ്ടായിട്ടുണ്ട്.

മെച്ചപ്പെട്ട സേവനങ്ങൾ പൊതുജനങ്ങൾക്ക് ലഭിക്കണമെങ്കിൽ, ആരോഗ്യകരമായ തൊഴിൽ സാഹചര്യങ്ങൾ ആരോഗ്യ വകുപ്പിൽ ഉണ്ടാകേണ്ടതുണ്ട്. ഡോക്ടർമാരുടേതടക്കം ആവശ്യമായ മനുഷ്യവിഭവ ശേഷിയും, ഗുണനിലവാരമുള്ള മരുന്നുകളും ചികിത്സാ ഉപകരണങ്ങളും, മെച്ചപ്പെട്ട ഭൗതിക സാഹചര്യങ്ങളും, ഭീതിരഹിതമായ പ്രവർത്തന സാഹചര്യങ്ങളും കാലാനുസൃതമായ തൊഴിൽ നിയമ പരിഷ്കരണങ്ങളും നടപ്പിൽ വരുത്തുവാനുള്ള ഇടപെടലുകൾ നടത്തുവാൻ സാമൂഹിക പ്രതിബദ്ധതയുള്ള സർവീസ് സംഘടന എന്ന നിലയ്ക്ക് കെ.ജി.എം.ഒ.എ പ്രതിജ്ഞാബദ്ധമാണ്.

പൊതുജനാരോഗ്യ സംരക്ഷണത്തിനായി നിലവാരമുള്ള ആധുനിക ചികിത്സ സാർവ്വത്രികമാക്കുന്നതിനായി’ അംഗങ്ങളോടൊപ്പം ജനങ്ങൾക്കു വേണ്ടി നമുക്ക് അനവരതം പ്രവർത്തിക്കാം.
